Frequently Asked Questions
FTC Uganda offers a range of aviation training courses, including Private Pilot License (PPL), Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Instrument Rating (IR), Multi-Engine Rating, Simulator Training, and Instructor Courses.
The duration of each program varies. Typically, the PPL can be completed in about 6 to 12 months, while the CPL may take 12 to 18 months, depending on the student’s pace and availability.
No prior experience is required to enroll in the Private Pilot License program. However, students must meet certain medical and age requirements.
To obtain a pilot license, students must complete ground school training, pass a written exam, and log a specified number of flight hours. Additionally, a medical examination is required to ensure fitness to fly.
Safety is our top priority. We adhere to strict safety regulations, conduct regular maintenance on our aircraft, and ensure that all instructors are certified and trained in safety procedures.
